As a lawyer, my most important job is to give my clients a fair shot in the legal system. Over more than 35 years in legal practice, I have represented many clients in the areas of criminal defense, oil, gas and mineral lawestate planning and personal injury. My personal injury clients deserve an aggressive advocate in their corner when insurance companies make things difficult. My criminal defense clients need smart, strategic counsel by their side when they’ve been arrested for a crime and the prosecution is going for a conviction. My business clients in the oil, gas and mineral industries need an experienced, results-oriented attorney to help protect their most vital business interests. Because I have practiced extensively in all these areas, my firm has the flexibility to give individuals in Montana the representation they deserve, no matter what their needs are.

Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as a police officer. During law school, I worked for a local prosecutor. I spent years as counsel for oil and gas companies, and have helped obtain multimillion-dollar personal injury claims. I have a wide range of experience that matters when addressing legal issues, and I use my legal knowledge and real-world problem-solving skills to help my clients every day.

An Experienced Montana Lawyer Who Believes In Personal Service

I believe it is important that my clients feel “at home” when discussing their legal matter; when my clients feel comfortable talking about sensitive issues, I can get the information necessary to start building a strong case. People who seek my services quickly discover that my firm offers a professional but informal atmosphere, free of the impersonal and sometimes intimidating air that many people associate with law firms. Reassuring my clients and giving them confidence in our legal strategy are no less important to me than the outcomes I obtain, and I am proud to focus 100 percent on my clients at every stage of their cases.
